Restored Mobility Despite Spinal Stenosis Diagnosis
I was diagnosed with Spinal Stenosis a few years ago. It became difficult to stand, walk, and carry anything in 2009. MRI’s were taken; a neurologist referred me for physical therapy, etc.
The inability to perform daily activities due to lower back and leg pain was overbearing mentally and physically. Numbness in my right leg to my feet were prevalent. Physical therapy didn’t help much and cortisone shots offered minimal relief. My work requires a good amount of walking and carrying at times and I was very limited with the tasks I could perform because of my pain and numbness. I was unable to go for walks and go shopping as it was uncomfortable.
A friend referred me to Dr Justin James. Dr James and his team have been understanding and helpful from the very beginning. I have performed the physical treatments as prescribed.
Within a couple of weeks I experienced no pain, thus I was able to walk without restrictions, carry items like before and stand for long periods of time. Also, the numbness in my leg has not returned since being treated.
