Tristen's successful alternative to medicine for ADHD

Prior to beginning care with Dr. James, Tristen was diagnosed with hyperactivity, attention issues, and had GERD (a digestive issue). We had tried many things with him but never imagined Chiropractic care would be the answer. We gave Tristen supplements and even altered his diet, which can be difficult for a 6 year old child to abide by. I never allowed medication because I know they only mask the symptoms, not treat or correct them.

When we first started coming to Dr. James, we were skeptical, as it seems many people are. Coming from Mt. Pleasant made it more difficult as well, but when we saw the results we did, we knew it was well worth any inconvenience it seemed to cause. Tristen teacher reports that she now teaches a “different child.” Academics were never really an issue for him, but we as parents, were afraid that eventually his behavior would impact this. I even have a different child at home. Tristen also has not had as many episodes with his digestive system either. This method of treatment, as well as Dr. James and his staff, has been a gift from God for us.
